WHOOP has recruited Kristen Moss as its first chief communications officer, a newly created role that reflects the company’s continued growth and increasing global visibility. Moss will lead global communications, helping elevate WHOOP’s brand and reputation as it continues to scale and expand its impact on human performance and health.

“The next chapter of WHOOP isn’t just about growing our business but about sharing a story that inspires millions of people to take control of their health,” WHOOP Founder/CEO Will Ahmed said. “Kristen is an exceptional communicator and a hands-on leader, and we’re excited for her to help shape how the world understands WHOOP.”

A seasoned communications executive, Moss most recently served as vice president of Strategic Communications for North America at The Coca-Cola Company, where she helped shape communications across one of the company’s largest markets. Previously, she was head of Global Corporate Communications for Reebok, within the adidas organization, where she led communications for the brand’s $2.5 billion sale to Authentic Brands Group. Earlier in her career, Moss worked in communications and marketing roles at Liberty Mutual, MediaVest, Condé Nast, FTI Consulting, and Polo Ralph Lauren.

Moss joins WHOOP as the company surpasses 3 million members worldwide and builds on its foundation in human performance with a broader vision for helping people understand their health, improve daily habits, and live better longer.

“The WHOOP mission is deeply personal to me,” Moss stated. “Health is the foundation for how we show up in every part of our lives, and WHOOP gives people the insight to make more informed decisions about their health every day. The company has earned extraordinary trust with elite athletes, and its potential reaches far beyond sport. I’m excited to join WHOOP and help tell that bigger story—one that inspires more people to unlock their potential through a better understanding of their own health.”

A lifelong fitness enthusiast, Moss is a three-time New York City Marathon finisher and has completed more than 15 half marathons.

WHOOP’s 24/7 wearable featuring a 14-day battery life provides health guidance across sleep, recovery, strain, fitness, and longevity. The health platform includes a U.S. Food and Drug Administration-cleared ECG, a Healthspan longevity feature, blood pressure insights, and advanced labs blood biomarker analysis. Research shows that people who wear WHOOP daily log more than 90 additional minutes of exercise per week, get more than two extra hours of sleep, and have a 10% higher heart rate variability. WHOOP was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Boston. The company has raised more than $900 million in venture capital, ships to 56 countries, and operates in six languages.
